Yorktown Police say they received a report of a male refusing to leave the property of Yorktown High School on Thursday, Aug. 15 around noontime.
Further investigation revealed that Aaron Stanik of Mission Viejo, California refused to leave the property after being asked numerous times by school officials, police say.
Stanik was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, a Class B misdemeanor. He was processed, arraigned and issued a stay-away order of protection.
Stanik was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Sept. 5.
